Refugee Week is an annual, national event celebrating the contribution made by refugees to UK society, and encouraging people to look more positively at the issues surrounding asylum seekers and refugees. Its motto this year is ‘different pasts, shared future’. Here’s the full timetable of events in Suffolk. Tune in, come along, get involved!

With a focus on mental health, a chance for both agencies and clients to meet the Health Outreach NHS team and find out what they do. Refreshments provided.

Thursday 19th June Ipswich Soroptimists International Quiz night at Shelley’s Restaurant, Suffolk New College £15 a head with food – booking essential.Proceeds will provide Education Bursaries for local women including refugees.

Sports & Family Fun Day

Sporting events for refugees and asylum seekers, from penalty shootouts to tyre stacking, plus a family fun day with bouncy castle, face painting, a fire engine and more. Free entrance – all welcome, bring a picnic!
