Health & Sports Activities

We are passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of the people we work with. We offer a range of healthy activities, from women’s wellbeing sessions to buggy walks, as well as advice and workshops on topics including weight management, cancer awareness and hypertension, and referrals to partners including specialist sessions with Suffolk Mind.

We also partner with Suffolk Cricket on regular outdoor net sessions and with the Ipswich Town Foundation on a weekly refugee football group, which has been visited by several first team players, including the ITFC captain Sam Morsy, and has featured on national television.

If you are a refugee or asylum seeker and you would like to play football or cricket, take part in gentle exercise or find out more about our health activities, please contact Rachel (rbond@suffolkrefugee.org.uk) or call us on 01473 400785 for more information.

We couldn’t do the work we do without your support. Find out how you can get involved.
