Fundraise

Organising a fundraising event is a great way to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable refugees, while also raising awareness of the issues they face. It can be a lot of fun too! Could you help us to meet urgent needs such as emergency underwear packs or footwear vouchers for asylum seekers who arrive at our office in winter in flip flops? Our supporters have raised money through events such as a coffee morning, a church talk and collection, or a sponsored bike ride or walk. Perhaps you would like to organise a quiz to mark our 25th anniversary – if so, we can provide a refugee-themed picture round! If you would like to support refugees through fundraising, we can help you through each stage, from publicity for your event, setting up a sponsorship page, and providing a fundraising pack. For more details, contact Martin who will be pleased to hear from you: msimmonds@suffolkrefugee.org.uk
