Our Advice Service has developed in response to the many and complex problems experienced by asylum seekers and refugees as they adapt to life in the UK. We offer advice covering an extensive range of issues – from health to housing, immigration and asylum issues and family support – for people newly arrived in Suffolk and those who are more settled. From April 2023 and March 2024 we delivered 12022 individual advice sessions to 1537 clients from 51 countries.

The service is delivered by experienced Advice Workers assisted by a team of volunteers.  We have built strong relationships with many local external support agencies to ensure that we provide a professional and cohesive service. We are open to all asylum seekers, refugees and their families and we aim to provide good quality independent advice. No matter what the problem, we will do all we can to resolve it or refer to the appropriate external agency for assistance.

Our Advice Service is appointments only during the hours above. To make an appointment or for advice by telephone, please call 01473 400785. We also offer telephone advice.
