We are currently recruiting a full-time Resettlement Advice Worker and a part-time Community Engagement Worker – Hidden Harms. Both posts will be based at our office in Ipswich. Please see below for details of each post and application packs.

Resettlement Advice Worker

An exciting opportunity to work full time on the Refugee Resettlement programme at Suffolk Refugee Support, with responsibility for assisting resettled refugees with all areas of advice, support and integration into the UK. Please note that Arabic language skills are essential for this post.

Hours: 37 hrs/week
Salary: £24,598 per annum
Closing date: Tuesday 29 May at close of business
Interview date: Friday 1 June

Community Engagement Worker – Hidden Harms

This is a new post with responsibility for engaging with the community, professionals and Suffolk Refugee Support clients to raise awareness and provide support around ‘Hidden Harms’, including FGM, forced marriage, honour-based violence, hate crimes, workplace exploitation and dangers to children.

Hours: 14 hrs/week
Salary: £24,598 per annum (pro rata from 37 hrs p/w)
Closing date: Tuesday 29 May at 12 noon
Interview date: Thursday 7 June
