We currently have two exciting opportunities to join the team at Suffolk Refugee Support, including providing support for Afghan families and individuals arriving in Suffolk through the UK government’s Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (ARAP). The Employment and Training Advice Worker will help to equip refugees with the skills needed to gain, maintain or find better employment, including meeting the employment and training needs of Afghan families.

Hours: 28 hours per week
Salary: £19,366 per annum (pro rata from £24,208 FTE for 35 hours per week)

We are also looking for a part-time Youth Sports & Activities Coordinator to develop and deliver a weekly football group to male refugees and asylum seekers and to help run a new weekly youth club.

Hours: 8 hours per week (mainly evenings)
Salary: £5,906 per annum (pro rata from £25,839 FTE for 35 hours per week)
