We’re delighted to be taking part in the PhotoEast Festival 2018 with the refugee photography project, Tapestry. Working with the award-winning photographer Gillian Allard, a number of the refugees we support, including members of our International Women’s Group, have explored the festival theme of ‘belonging’. The result is a series of spectacular and eye-catching images on display at La Tour Cycle Cafe on Ipswich Waterfront for the duration of the PhotoEast Festival, culminating in Refugee Week (18-24 June).
Tapestry has been produced in association with Photo East with funding from the Chivers Trust, the Scarfe Trust and Locality Budget of Suffolk County Councillors Mandy Gaylard and Bill Quinton.
