Suffolk Refugee Support are pleased to announce the publication of our Annual Report 2013-2014. It’s been another busy year at SRS, with new funding secured, a rise in client numbers from countries such as Sri Lanka and Eritrea, more than five and a half thousand advice services given, a new emphasis on employment and health work, the continued success of our ESOL classes and Men’s and Women’s Groups, and an awful lot of hard work from staff, volunteers and trustees to improve the lives of asylum seekers and refugees in Suffolk. All set against a backdrop of global conflict, refugee crises and the forced displacement of people in unprecedented numbers.
