The theme of Refugee Week 2019 (17-23 June) is ‘You, me & those who came before’, which fits well with us looking back over 20 years of supporting refugees in Suffolk. So we’re delighted to announce a full programme of events for the week, including a talk at the University of Suffolk, a tie-in with an exhibition about the Rwandan genocide at Snape Maltings, a film screening in Woodbridge organised by Friends of Refugees Suffolk, and refugee-themed displays at Aldeburgh Bookshop and Woodbridge and Ipswich libraries. We hope to see you at one of the events, where you can also pick up a copy of our new Refugee Stories booklet.
