Since lockdown began just over two months ago, we have delivered well over 1000 individual advice contacts along with hundreds of welfare checks, ESOL contacts and virtual group work. We have been in contact with around 300 clients and have supported many more when family members are included. We have given support on health and mental health issues, schooling, education and training, destitution, homelessness and emergency food deliveries, and online skills shares and English lessons. A huge thank you to our dedicated team of staff and volunteers for making sure so many people, who might otherwise be vulnerable and isolated, have been supported and reassured that they are not alone, and to our clients for your amazing resilience and good humour. If you need help or have any questions about our services, you can phone us on 01473 400785, email office@suffolkrefugee.org.uk or direct message us through Facebook. We’re here to help.
