Our Advice Service was developed in response to the many and complex problems experienced by asylum seekers and refugees as they adapt to life in the UK. We offer advice covering an extensive range of issues, with a particular emphasis on employment and health for both our more settled clients and those newly arrived in Suffolk.

The service is delivered by experienced Advice Workers assisted by a team of volunteers.  We have built strong relationships with many local external support agencies to ensure that we provide a professional and cohesive service.

Our Advice Service is appointments only during the hours above. To make an appointment or for advice by telephone, please call 01473 400785. We also offer telephone advice.

We are open to all asylum seekers, refugees and their families. We aim to provide good quality independent advice. No matter what the problem, we will try our best to resolve it. If for whatever reason we are unable to help a client find a solution, we will refer them to the appropriate external agency for assistance.

Between April 2021 and March 2022 we delivered 7099 individual advice sessions to 618 clients from 43 countries.
