Recently we took a group of refugees from war-torn countries – including Iraq, Eritrea and Syria – to Fulibroch Dairy, deep in the Suffolk countryside. They had a wonderful day out, milking goats, feeding lambs and chopping wood in the sunshine surrounded by beautiful rolling landscapes. ITV Anglia came along to film and report on this incredibly positive outing. As with previous farm trips, the benefits to our clients of being in the fresh air, connecting with animals and the land and having worthwhile activities to do are obvious from the smiling, relaxed faces at the end of the day. Perhaps it is easy to forget worries and past traumas for a moment with a lamb in your arms.

Huge thanks to all at the dairy for their hospitality and to ITV Anglia for treating our clients so sympathetically. You can watch the TV report here.
